What is the Dynamics SSP?
Dynamics Special Support Programme (SSP) is an individualised intervention programme that serves as an alternative to mainstream schooling.
To help children reach their potential, we have highly motivated and qualified Teachers, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists conducting group therapy sessions as part of our programme.
Who does Dynamics SSP support?
Dynamics SSP is designed for older children who require support that is not available in mainstream schools. Children in Dynamics SSP may have unique learning and behavioural challenges, such as intellectual impairments, multiple learning difficulties, and/or being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dynamics SSP helps children develop academics, functional communication, social skills and group readiness skills. We provide ample development opportunities for optimal progress throughout our curriculum to enable our students to achieve their goals.
What is an Individual Education Plan (IEP)?
As part of our individualised and multidisciplinary Dynamics Approach, each student will have their Individual Education Plan (IEP) developed with our specialist Teachers, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists. This is to ensure that each child’s unique strengths and challenges can be utilised and addressed to help reach their goals. An IEP will include goals to develop:
- Functional Communication Skills
- Expressive and Receptive Language Skills
- Group Readiness Skills
- Pre-Academic Skills
- Daily Living Skills
- Attention and Instructional Skills
- Fine Motor Skills
- Gross Motor Skills
- Social Skills
How is Dynamics SSP different?
Dynamics SRP offers an individualised and multidisciplinary Dynamics Approach with a low student-teacher ratio as well as Speech and Occupational Therapy integrated with the programme. We also have on-site access to a team of highly trained and experienced Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Educational Therapists and Specialist Teachers.
What is the next step for your child?
The overall aim of the SSP is to support students to achieve their individualised learning goals. We have a flexible programme that ensures our student’s smooth transition to mainstream school. We offer both full-day and half-day programmes and encourage progressing students to attend both the mainstream setting and EIP when they are ready.
Holistic approach
Children with unique learning and behavioural challenges often need multidisciplinary support. At Dynamics SSP, we ensure positive working relationships with professionals within Dynamics as well as with our external affiliates to provide the best holistic support for our students.
Dynamics SRP runs 5 days a week with flexible options of 3 or 5-day attendance. We also half-day and full-day programmes:
- 9:00am–12:00pm (Half-Day)
- 1:30pm–4:30pm (Half-Day)
- 9:00am–2:00pm (Full-Day)
